GEORGE WILLIAM BARNARD
Original grant recipient (1847) of the land now occupied by 54, 56 & 58-62 High Street.
WARWICK FRANK BROOKS
Born on 14 March 1921 in Burnie, the son of Benjamin and Dorice Brooks. He had six brothers and five sisters. He lived with his wife, Doreen, in Lachlan. He died on 21 June 1997 in Hobart, Tasmania, at the age of 76, and was buried in Kingston, Tasmania.
COLIN JEFFREY BROWN
1880 - 1947 - Served in Boer War 1899 to 1902 - on his return was a Chemist in New Norfolk for many years.

JAMES FREDERICK LEE
Born on 13 March 1855 in England. He married Elizabeth Finlay on 2 July 1879 in Hobart, Tasmania. They had four children in 10 years. He died on 6 November 1936 in New Norfolk, Tasmania, at the age of 81.
