An historic building, that showcases produce, arts and crafts of the Derwent Valley with a modern flavour - you are welcome to browse.

The Toll House - "simply Tasmanian" will be a centre for the display and promotion of Tasmanian produce and craft, with very special regional focus. The products range from honey, jams, sauces to fine wines of the area, and the crafts displayed are pottery, woodwork, painting, photographs, designer clothes and many more.

Built in 1841 at the time of the first bridge across the Derwent, the toll keeper collected a toll from all users until 1874.   In later years it was youth hostel style accommodation, and has stood vacant for some 20 years.   The Toll House is situated on the banks of the Derwent River.
