Views from Pulpit Rock Lookout, New Norfolk

One of my favourite places in town is the Pulpit Rock Lookout.   Even on a bleak wet day in Autumn, the view is
breathtaking.   You absolutely cannot leave New Norfolk without spending some time at the top of Pulpit Rock!

This is looking downriver towards Boyer - November 2003

This is probably one of my most often "borrowed" photos and turns up
on many websites around Tasmania - now you know the source.....

Another view towards town - taken November 2003.

The buildings in the center are Tynwald to the left
and the Oast House to the right.   In the foreground
is the Tynwald Park Wetland Conservation Area

The above panorama was created by merging six individual photos and I'm rather proud of the
result (try scrolling to the right).   If you want to use this image on your website, all I ask is that
you acknowledge me as the photographer and link back to this website - http://www.newnorfolk.org
